| On March 15 MCA held a Customer
Appreciation Day at its new Elgin location and a good time was
had by all!
We saw a lot of familiar faces - and some new ones, too!
We also got the chance to show off our newest location - 1900
Berkley Street - just south of Lake Street between McLean
and Randall Roads.
The event included free T-shirts and raffles of Milwaukee
tools, MCA gift certificates, and much, much more. Outdoors
we demo-ed the new ICS 613 GC diamond chain saw (see picture
on the right and the MVP section on the next page). We also
had product demonstrations from Milwaukee Tools and Stihl.
On hand, too, was a representative from Knaack, Coleman Cable,
and Elk River.
We watched and shared the excitement of March Madness NCAA
basketball tournament games while dining on a wide array of
delicious food prepared by MCA's own Tom Bernacki. "I
love doing this for our customers, they enjoy it and really
appreciate it," says Bernacki.
"The turn-out was great," says Tim Burghardt, the
store's manager. "We're glad so many people could come
and that we could show off our line of products
including
our heavy equipment like our IHI backhoe, Thomas Skid-steer,
Crown's concrete mixer, and our Heat King - which is great
for thawing out frozen ground. These products are available
for purchase or renting from any of our three locations."
"We'd like to thank all those who came and our suppliers
who helped make this a great event," says Ed Grobelny,
MCA Operations Manager. "I'd especially like to thank
Monarch Mfg., Bowman-Kemp, Kewanee Corp., Insteel Wire, Conspec,
Symons, Wisconsin Plastic Drain Tile, Coleman Cable, Mississippi
Valley Stihl, Meadow Burke, Elk River, and Knaack Mfg."
A good time was, indeed, had by all!
