| MCA's Naperville location has been
fabricating rebar for customers for years. But starting in 2002
we're able to do it even faster and more precisely than we could
in the past. The reason? Our new Schnell Bar Wiser® machine!
It can take straight #3, #4, # 5 and # 6 stock, cut it within
3/64'' tolerance, bend it within one-degree tolerance, and
drop it within seconds.
The Bar Wiser can be used to manufacture stirrups and hoops
as well as long bars bent at both ends. This capability is
important for MCA's commercial construction customers.
The machine basically doubles MCA's capacity for this operation,
and therefore is beneficial to all our customers. We can now
get any size job out in almost half the time. And new, enhanced
computer-driven programs reduce the time for doing take-off
work and translating it to the manufacturing process.

so much easier -simply because we can get them the same product
as before so much faster and more precise to their measurements,"
