The Elgin Store Counter Crew

The new Elgin store brings you the best of both worlds. The convenience, improved size, and layout of the new store, along with the experienced and trained staff of the "old" East Dundee store. Let's take a minute to meet Tim, Dave, and Dan.

Getting his start in the business world by selling appliances at Sears and Highland Super Stores, Tim knows the value of being able to listen to customers' needs and finding a solution that works for them. These skills have come in handy over the six years he's been with MCA. He has always worked as a counter sales person and will continue in that role in addition to being the manager of the new Elgin store. He has a wife, six children, and a chocolate Labrador retriever waiting at home at the end of the day. He's an avid observer of all sports and an active participant in two - softball and basketball.

Dave started with MCA almost two years ago as an outside sales person dedicated to equipment sales and rentals. This was a natural progression from his prior experience as an equipment sales person for other local supply houses. Today he continues his sales role and adds "second-in-charge" of the Elgin store to his list of responsibilities. He and John Lundvick (an MCA outside sales person) are high school buddies. In his spare time, Dave likes to spend time with his wife, son, and two dogs. He enjoys hunting and fishing, too!

Dan has only been with MCA for one year, but is one of the few employees who has worked at all three MCA locations. (Imagine what he knows!) Prior to joining MCA Dan was a union carpenter and contractor/carpenter on his own in both residential and commercial construction. Dan loves sports and plays hockey and softball. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his two boys, Anthony and Nick.

Tim, Dave, and Dan are excited that the East Dundee store has grown to the point where it needed to be moved to a larger location. "We've taken the store to the next level for our customers and the company. We couldn't be prouder," says Tim. "Be sure to come and visit us!"

A. Yeah, there is. It's a product called FORM-A-DRAIN®. On an installed cost basis it can't be beat! This one-step product eliminates the material costs for both footing lumber and 4'' drain tile. It also eliminates the time and expense needed to strip heavy lumber forms, load them back on the truck, and then make a separate return trip to the job site to install drain tile.

FORM-A-DRAIN is a stay in place PVC footing form. Once the footing is formed and the concrete is poured, FORM-A-DRAIN remains in place and acts as the drain system. Building officials recognize it as an alternative to round pipe for drainage and it meets building code requirements.

It's light and easy to handle, too. It comes in 12' lengths in 3 true dimensional sizes, 2 1/4 x 4'', 2 1/4 x 6'', and 2 1/4 x 8''. These lengths are easily joined using couplings and angle fittings designed to accommodate any foundation layout.

Talk to your MCA sales professional about the product and our FREE TRIAL JOB program to see just how much time and money you really can save.
