Like other employees at MCA Ed Grobelny, VP Operations and Sales Professional, has a long history with the company. It all began a little over fifteen years ago when Ed drove a delivery truck for the company during his summer breaks from college. After he graduated from Iowa State with a BS in Business, Ed was asked to join MCA as a fulltime employee. He started working the counter at the Palatine location. Then he later moved on to manage and sell from the East Dundee store. Today, he spends his time servicing his customers from all three locations and leaves the managing of the Elgin store to Tim!

Although Ed played baseball throughout all four years at ISU, today he prefers fishing and playing golf when he has some spare time. He has a wife, Nora, and an active family of two daughters, Megan (8) and Shannon (2), and a son, Jake (5). You just know Ed has to look long and hard for that free time.

Ed believes that MCA is a great place to work because, “They believe in the same things that I do to make my customers' lives easier….and more profitable!” Things like quick turnaround on orders, complete product lines, and knowledge that comes from experience and longevity of a company. “MCA brings a lot of value to its customers in so many ways. MCA has a staff of professionals with the knowledge of concrete construction in the residential and commercial markets. I couldn't do what I do without all of them,” says Grobelny.

Before getting back to servicing his customers, Ed wants to make sure that his customers are aware of his appreciation. “I just want to thank all my customers for their loyalty and business throughout the years. I hope to continue to bring my hard work and experience to them throughout 2003 and beyond!”

A. We've got just what you're looking for - The Crack-PacTM Crack Injection System from Simpson Strong-Tie. This new product lets you repair cracks using a high strength epoxy that mixes in the cartridge and dispenses using a standard caulking tool. Resin is contained in the cartridge and hardener in the nozzle. Combine the two components and shake for two minutes: it’s that easy.

Another reason this system is so quick, clean, and easy to use is that their E-Z-Click Injection FittingTM installs onto the end of the Crack-Pac nozzle and clicks onto the E-Z-Click PortsTM during injection. This provides a positive connection that eliminates messy leakage that's hard to clean up and wastes time and material.

Once properly mixed and applied, Crack-Pac gives you a permanent, high-strength repair that is moisture proof without all the mess, hassle and cost of traditional equipment.

MCA carries the Crack-Pac Injection Kit that includes everything needed to pressure inject approximately eight lineal feet of cracks (see photo)

You supply the caulking tool and the cracked concrete and we'll supply the rest.
