John Lundvick is just one of MCA's experienced Sales Reps. He brings over 14 years of concrete construction sales experience, the last four with MCA. We're glad we have him on our team. Not only does he know the business and have great relationships with his customers he is a lot of fun to have around!

Tapping into John's serious side he tells us that he came to MCA because he felt there was more opportunity for himself and, more importantly, his customers. “The people at MCA are great. The products, service and delivery are at the top in the Chicago market - the whole place makes it easy for me to do a better job for my customers,” says John.

When he's not at work you could find John on the golf course, playing softball, wallyball or working out at the gym. He might be at home playing with his daughter Maddie, son Johnny, dog Molly or you might find him in the nursery preparing it for the third child he and his wife, Valerie, are expecting later this year.

With all that John has going on at work and at home he still finds time to have fun with customers and co-workers. You can expect to find John thoroughly enjoying himself at industry functions. He's a fun-loving guy who brings his enthusiasm for life and people to his job everyday.

“I just want to tell all my customers 'thanks' for their business and friendship in the past and I look forward to building on both over the years to come,” says Lundvick.

Well, this question is a little bit like “Why should you brush your teeth in the morning?” The reasons are obvious, but not everybody does it.

Vibrating foundation walls is a simple and cost-effective task that:

  • Eliminates dimples, honeycombing, and bubbles in the wall surface when the forms are removed. This is because vibrating gets the air bubbles out of the concrete so they can't form all those nasty abrasions on the wall surface. This means you can save the money and time of sending patch crews back to clean them up. Just use that ever-present guy on your pouring crew who is “just watching" to do the vibrating operation.
  • Makes the concrete stronger - Vibrating consolidates the concrete, which in turn produces greater density, superior strength and durability in the walls. This means less callbacks down the road for foundation cracks.

Of course, MCA has vibrators available for purchase or rental. We particularly like the square-head line of Wyco electric vibrators. They're available in many shaft lengths.

Call us to test one out on your next job! You'll see the difference -- and the cost savings!
